Fire-Rated Steel Joinery

Fire-rated steel joinery meets the requirements of both public and private buildings. Fire-rated WIŚNIOWSKI doors and walls are made to order and can be adapted to any height and width in projects which obtained a technical approval. Fire-rated steel doors and walls are offered in the following two fire ratings: EI 30 and EI 60, as well as the Sa and S200 smoke control classes.
Fire-rated steel joinery can be used indoors and outdoors for closing rooms such as boiler rooms, back-up facilities, staircases doubling as fire escape in plants, offices, schools, cinemas, hospitals, and in underground passageways, e.g. car parks.

A SOLID STRUCTURE

Our doors’ reliable operation and unmatched resistance to damage is ensured by a rigid steel structure and welded connections. It is particularly important in the case of frequently used doors that are installed in public buildings.

FIRE PROTECTION

Fire-rated WIŚNIOWSKI doors, windows, and walls provide maximum safety and durability in extreme conditions. They can be manufactured with the following fire ratings: EI 30 and EI 60, in the case of fixed windows also EI120, while maintaining the Sa and S200 class.

JANSEN JANISOL 2 AND JANSEN JANISOL 3 FIRE-RATED STEEL PROFILE WINDOWS

  • the EI30, EI60 and EI120 fire rating,
  • the frame made of steel profiles with a thermal break and a fire-insulating compound filling,
  • sections are connected by welding and ground,
  • infill: a fire-rated glass pane or panel,
  • the frame features a modified EPDM gasket around its entire circumference,
  • can be installed in continuous systems of fire-rated partitions.

JANSEN JANISOL 2(EI30) AND JANSEN JANISOL 3(EI60)

FIRE-RATED STEEL PROFILE DOORS

  • the EI30 and EI60 fire rating,
  • single-leaf or double-leaf,
  • the door leaf and the opening frame made of steel sections with a thermal break and a fire-insulating compound filling,
  • sections are connected by welding and ground,
  • steel hinges with bearings and height adjustment welded to the joinery structure,
  • infill: a fire-rated glass pane or panel,
  • a modified EPDM gasket around the entire circumference, except for the threshold,
  • also available in a smoke control version with a drop-down seal in the S200 or Sa class in accordance with the PN-EN 13501-2+A1:2010 standard.

EI30 AND EI60

FIRE-RATED SEAMLESS STEEL DOORS

  • a mullion and transom façade,
  • specially processed glass panes can be mounted using mechanical fasteners,
  • various cover strips available,
  • angular connections up to ± 7.5° per side and the construction of façades deviating from the horizontal by up to ± 15°,
  • high degree of thermal insulation,
  • the option of forming sections and constructing arch structures available.

FIRE-RATED ALUMINIUM WALLS

  • the EI30 and EI60 fire rating,
  • single-leaf or double-leaf,
  • corner frame as standard, internal or wrap around frame as an option,
  • the frame made of powder coated formed steel sections,
  • the leaf infilled with mineral wool,
  • gaskets: a modified EPDM rebate gasket and an intumescent gasket,
  • the leaf features two hinges per each leaf, including one self-closing hinge,
  • standard: a single mortise lever lock with a lock cylinder complete with a set of three keys, two anti-burglary bolts, and a polypropylene door handle on a steel shank,
  • option: class C lock cylinders, an additional lock, an electromagnetic strike, a door closer, glazing, anti-panic hardware, a door bumper, a drop-down seal, a spyhole, a ventilation grille,
  • available in anti-burglary class 2 or 3 in accordance with PN-ENV 1627:2011,
  • also available in a smoke control version with a drop-down seal in the S200 or Sa class in accordance with the PN-EN 13501-2+A1:2010 standard.

FIRE-RATED STEEL FAÇADES

  • the load-bearing capacity of profiles is selected in accordance with the design,
  • sections connected by welding,
  • a double gasket system forming a uniform thermal break and providing ventilation for internal areas of the system,
  • a system for draining condensate and ventilation for glazing areas,
  • no linear thermal bridges,
  • stainless steel external clamping sections and fasteners.

FIRE-RATED STEEL WALLS

  • with a thermal break,
  • leaf infilled with a fire-rated single glass pane or a glazing unit or a panel with appropriate fire rating,
  • powder coated framework and opening frame,
  • quality brand hardware certified for using in fire-rated doors.
