MIRROR FIX SIL 280ML – SILICONE ADHESIVE AND SEALANT FOR MIRRORS
Specialist silicone adhesive and construction sealant intended for gluing mirrors, laminates and glass mosaics, also in the mirror-mirror system. It has very good adhesion to typical building materials such as: glass, metals, plastics, wood, brick, tiles, concrete, stone, ceramics, gypsum elements, etc. The product has a neutral curing system. Contains no solvents. It is flexible, durable and resistant to temperature changes: -40 to +180°C and to fungi, mold and UV rays.

Method of application
The glued surfaces must be dry and clean, free of dust, dust, grease, grease, rust and other substances that impair adhesion. Glass, glazed surfaces and wood should be degreased with alcohol, petroleum spirit or other solvent. Absorbent surfaces such as plaster or brick should be primed. Apply the adhesive in vertical stripes or in spots – air access to the adhesive must be ensured. Press the glued surfaces firmly and evenly, to fix the mirror, use supports until the glue is completely hardened (deep hardening time: 2mm/24 hours). Do not seal the edges of the mirror before curing.
Warnings
In the case of mirrors of an unknown manufacturer, gluing tests should be carried out. Mirrors for indoor use should be protected with the following coatings: 0.7 g/m 2 silver, 0.2 g/m 2 copper, 50 μm thickness of the primer and top coat, including 20 μm of the primer.
It is also recommended to perform an adhesion test on the substrate before using the product.
