Ren - Modular metal roofing tiles

Ren – Modular metal roofing tiles – panels

Metal roof tiles with character

The REN metal roofing tile is the first metal roofing tile on the market with an inclined shape (cross-section).

The shape of the coating ensures a lower tendency for dirt to settle, and a large range of anti-corrosion protection (organic and metallic coatings) allows the use of REN metal roofing tiles in places where the atmosphere is highly aggressive in terms of corrosion.

Technical Specifications

Technical informations

The panels are installed in a classic way, like other panel steel roofing tiles offered by Blachy Pruszyński. REN is available in all coatings from our offer in 27 basic colors from the RAL and RR palettes.

  • It is recommended to use battens with a minimum width of 50 mm. (depending on the angle of the roof and the length of the slope).
  • Counter battens should have a minimum height of 40 mm (depending on the roof slope angle and the length of the slope). Remember to adjust the dimensions of the battens to the rafter spacing
  • For the substructure, we suggest using dry construction wood of class C24 or KVH.
  • Counter battens are used to attach the roof foil (pre-covering foil – FWK) to the rafters. Metal roofing tile panels are attached directly to the battens.
  • The optimal distance between the first and second battens should be 270 mm. The spacing of battens for panel metal roofing tiles should be 350 mm. This is due to the length of the steel roof tile module. Remember that the module length is measured according to the diagram below.

  • Roofs with inclination angles lower than 15º require tight pre-covering. This allows you to achieve class 1 or 2 tightness (waterproof trouser roof or rainproof trouser roof).
