They are made of galvanized or coated steel sheet with thicknesses ranging from 0.5 to 0.7 mm in grades S280 GD or S350 GD.
They are most often used as elements to which external cladding is attached, and it is also possible to use them as a replacement for wooden battens when installing metal roofing tiles or trapezoidal sheets.
